Michelin rated restaurants in Sibenik county

Find out more about high quality restaurants in our county. Here is a list of four Michelin rated places. More precisely all of them are officially classified as taverns – „konoba“ in Dalmatian dialect, not as restaurants.


One Star • High quality cooking, worth a stop

In Croatia five restaurants gained one star rating by Michelin and one of them is Pelegrini (Michelin one star in 2018 and 2019). It is situated in the very heart of Sibenik, next to the famous cathedral and it has been a leading restaurant in Croatia in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.

It is exceptional in every way. Their philosophy of a fine dining is visible in every detail – ambience, furniture, ceramic dishes – everything is designed exclusively for this restaurant. It is elegant, but it doesn’t feel pretentious and the service is excellent.

Bib Gourmand • Inspectors’ favourites for good value

Only eight restaurants in Croatia have this „Bib Gourmand” rating and Konoba Vinko is among them. It is the only one in Sibenik county with such status and the only one situated in Sibenik inland – Konjevrate, a small village 15 km from Sibenik.

This place is one of our favourites. The food is excellent. You will be able to taste traditional Dalmatian gastronomy at its best (local high quality prosciutto and cheese, homemade bread, famous Skradin veal risotto…). Although the deserts are not traditional Dalmatian sweets – they are delicious.

The Plate • Fresh ingredients, carefully prepared: a good meal

A household restaurant named after a family nickname. This is a very elegantly decorated place, situated on Murter island.

The food served here is a modern cuisine prepared with fresh, local ingredients. Their philosophy is a fusion between tradition and modern gastronomy. The place is best known for their raw fish dishes.

This is the only restaurant among these four where we haven’t been ourselves. But considering its position on Michelin guide it must be a high quality restaurant.
